This hot chilli sauce can be used in my vegan kebab recipe, or try using it as a marinade for tofu or mushrooms – so versatile and easy to make!

  • 1 can chopped tomatoes
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 3 tsp mint sauce
  • 50ml distilled vinegar
  • 1 fresh chilli or to taste


  • Put all ingredients into a blender and whizz up together until you get fine chunks, or make it smooth if you prefer
  • This can be used immediately, but is best left for at least a couple of hours in the refrigerator to allow the flavours to mix
